About Us:
Spencer Ag Center is a livestock business intended to help eliminate producers' need to shop around for production support. We offer nutrition services, veterinary services, consulting, and more. We pride ourselves on being the "one-stop shop" for all things related to animal health and nutrition.

We are home to our beef and swine show feed line Purple Pursuit, which has Gut Bomb® feeds: Swine Gut Bomb®, Cattle Gut Bomb®, NuGut, and Junction.

Our Story
Spencer Ag has been working on the farmer's side of the fence for 30+ years. Here's our history of how we have improved serving our customers
2006, November
Spencer Ag became
their own business.
Our company has had a long history of service to the area livestock producers. Dennis Harman, Tim Christensen, and Greg Lear purchased the established business in November 2006 with the idea that local ownership would allow them to add programs to better benefit local producers. Our staff made the transition, giving the new company years of experience to meet the needs of customers.
2008
Purple Pursuit Show Feed
is created.
Formulated and on-farm tested, Greg and Tim create the Gut Bomb feeds to elevate their children's livestock show feed for their 4-H and FFA show pigs and cattle.
2016, December
Spencer Ag
Expands
From storing products in 5 separate warehouses, Spencer Ag expands and builds a new storefront location in Spencer, IA. Now all inventory is under one roof!
2022
The Working Crew
team is formed.
Spencer Ag creates a working crew to better serve the needs of their cattle producers who lack the equipment, facilities, and manpower it takes to work cattle.
